RYDERS from the Northeast... 

Marg and Al will be leading in guests from Crandon, WI.  Here are the details:

They will be arriving a day early at the Best Western, Crandon, WI, Wednesday, August 15th to lead a 50 – 60 mile dinner ride.  The Dinner Ride will depart from the hotel 5pm, sharp, central time, and will travel along scenic back roads to Charlie's Lake Metonga Resort for dinner then return to the Best Western hotel.  For those who are not interested in the extra miles after a long day of riding, there are various restaurants in Crandon where you can find a great meal.  Possible bonfire and pontoon rides at Charlie’s depending on weather and availability.

Marg and Al will depart from the Crandon Best Western hotel on Thursday, August 16th at 8:30 am sharp. 

Please be gassed up and ready to go First stretch/bathroom break at Kwik Trip in Bonduel,

about 1.5 hours.  If you wish to meet at Kwik Trip, we will be departing at 11:00 am, sharp. 

On to the Outpost Pub & Provisions Sherwood for lunch.  Delicious food, including burgers,

wings, appetizers, etc.   Depart Outpost promptly at 2:15 pm to travel to Comfort Inn and Suites

in Johnson Creek, arrival around 4:30. 

The trip from Crandon to Johnson Creek will include rides on scenic highways and byways.

Steve and Tony will be leading in our guests from the Eau Claire, WI area.  Here are the details:

They will be staying at the Holiday Inn-South in Eau Claire on Wednesday, August 15th and will do a dinner ride to Grizzly’s Grill late Wednesday afternoon, which is only about a mile away – see below.  Steve and Tony have suggested that if you are arriving earlier Wednesday and are looking for something to do, check out Leinenkugel’s in nearby Chippewa Falls.

They will be leaving the Holiday Inn parking lot Thursday morning August 16th, at 8:30am sharp

to start the beautiful, scenic journey on rustic roads back to Johnson Creek, WI.

Please be gassed up and ready to go. There will be a stop for lunch along the journey.

RYDERS from the Southwest...

Pete and Kay will be leading in guests from the Dubuque, IA area.  Here are the details:
They will be leaving the Baymont Inn & Suites’ parking lot Thursday, August 16th at 10am sharp to start the journey back to Johnson Creek, WI. Please be gassed up and ready to go. 

Pete and Kay’s ride back to WI will start east through Dubuque & cross the Mississippi River on Hwy 20. Their route will follow Hwy 20, south to Galena, IL.  They will continue south to Savanna on some very hilly/curvy roads and stop at the famous “Poopy’s Pub n’ Grub” for lunch, which is about an hour from Dubuque.

After lunch, the trip will go back through Savanna via more twisty, hilly backroads heading north through Warren, IL; Gratiot WI; and Argyle, WI.  There will be a rest stop for fuel in Argyle.  From there, they will lead you through Monticello, Evansville, Edgerton and wind their way to Johnson Creek arriving about 4:00pm in time for the kick off and famous Wisconsin Fish Fry.
